Out of 54 athletes named for the upcoming Australian Age Track and Field championships, the club is proud to announce that 15 are from the OVA Southern Saints! In the media release from Athletics Tasmania (AT), president Mike Gunson has said, “"It is a chance to step up, challenge themselves and aim for a quality personal best performance and we have some exciting young talent who we believe can do just that”.

The championships are being held in Sydney from the 11-14 March 2015, and is also represented by management officials Rosemary Coleman and Nathan Morey.

Many of the athletes listed below are also named in both male and female relays, ranging from 4x100m to 4x400m. A particular highlight for the club is the number of OVA athletes that make up the Tasmanian team, including our contingent of U17 Boys who all had a great build up at the recent 2015 Tasmanian Age Championships. OVA athlete Henri Norton wrote about his experience and feelings on the upcoming Australian Championships as a story for ovasouthernsaints.com which can be found here.
