Following her trip representing the city of Hobart, Gabi was glad to be back home but sounds like her and the rest of the team had an amazing time away.
"The trip was a fantastic experience for all 24 of us who participated from Launceston and Hobart cities (including Luke and myself)," said Gabi. "Taiwan brought a new perspective to us culturally and was very different to Australia, which made the experience more exciting".
I made the B final in the 800m and it wasn't my best, but it was okay considering my injuries. Luke participated in the 100m and 400m and got massive PB's in both events. Luke and I really enjoyed the welcoming vibe from the Taiwanese people and making friends from all around the world.
Well done Gabi to both yourself, Luke and Torin who have done not only Tasmania, Hobart and yourselves proud - but also the OVA Southern Saints. We wish you all the best of luck, and a whole heap of fun in season 2016-17 with the OVA Southern Saints. #goOVA
