Parents, Care Givers and Partners we need you to register too – either as a Volunteer (its free) or a Social Member. All helpers at events will need to have a WWVP registration – and that could be you, so by registering we won’t have to chase you for your WWVP details each week

Remember WWVP Registration is free for Volunteers.

Show Day

We hope everyone had a great first meet.

Round 2 is our traditional Show Day meet, kicking off at 9am. The program is here

We have Long Jump Duty at 9am and 10am – we will need helpers – Chief, Spikers, Recorders, Rakers, EDM, Wind Guage. Lots of easy jobs. Helpers will also be needed for hurdle set up.  (We have lots of committee away this week and will need athletes and families to help out please).  Helpers are needed for all events to happen, please jump in and assist wherever you can.

Don't forget your bib, or if its your first meet come to the OVA tent to collect it.  Sign up for the 4x400m relay at the tent and let Estelle, Levi or a committee member know if you are keen to run in the relay. Committe and Captains will be at the tent to help with anything - just ask.  Friends are welcome to trial - we can help you with paperwork.

Remember to sign in to your events at least 30 minutes before the event. Put your first and last name on the entry form, along with your bib number.   If you are scratching please let admin know.

OFFICIALS AND COACHES

Athletics needs Officials to be able to continue.  For every member, parent or helper who completes the online World Athletics Level 1 Officials Education OVA will pay $50.  For those who complete the National Area Referee requirements we will pay a further $50.  For information on this process email or speak to Amanda Robertson.

Athletics South is particularly looking for people interested in helping with Starting, Starter’s Assistant and Photo Finish. Reach out to Amanda if you are interested – amandaleerobertson@gmail.com
