This year's championships will be the official selection trials for the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships to be held in Melbourne December 4th-6th (for U14, U16 & U18 athletes), as well as the School Sport Australia Primary Track and Field Championships in Canberra from 4th-8th December (for athletes aged 10, 11 & 12 years). We've attached the selection policy for both teams below.

On a side note, there are open events offered,  "Entries for open events (for currently registered athletes only) will be taken on the day and will close 30mins before the scheduled start time of each such event. There is no entry fee for the open events'.
